[Remote] Security Engineering/Security Platform Engineering
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. STM Consulting, Inc. is seeking a highly experienced Security Platform Engineering Lead to design and build security capabilities for enterprise SaaS platforms and cloud-native applications. The role focuses on security architecture, platform services, identity solutions, cloud security, developer mentoring, and DevSecOps initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Designing security-focused software architectures
- Reviewing and mentoring developers across multiple engineering teams
- Building security platform services and reusable frameworks
- Developing authentication, authorization and identity solutions
- Implementing cloud security capabilities at scale
- Driving DevSecOps and shift-left security initiatives
Skills
- • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or related discipline
- • 10+ years of software engineering experience
- • 3+ years leading engineering teams or technical initiatives
- • Strong expertise in software architecture and platform engineering
- • Hands-on coding experience with Python, Java, Go, and/or Node.js
- • Experience building security features for SaaS products or enterprise platforms
- • IAM
- • Authentication & Authorization
- • RBAC
- • Encryption
- • Secrets Management
- • WAF
- • SIEM
- • Cloud Security
- • Experience implementing DevSecOps and CI/CD security automation
