[Remote] Senior AI Developer
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Rockwoods Inc is seeking a Senior AI Developer to architect, optimize, and deploy enterprise-grade ML/AI systems. The role requires deep expertise in Python and cloud AI platforms to deliver scalable and high-performance solutions.
Responsibilities
- Architect and optimize ML/DL models for NLP, computer vision, and predictive analytics
- Implement data preprocessing pipelines (feature engineering, normalization, augmentation)
- Build/deploy models with PyTorch, TensorFlow, Keras, Scikit‑learn
- Develop RESTful APIs/microservices for enterprise integration
- Deploy workloads on AWS SageMaker, Azure ML, GCP AI Platform with Kubernetes/Docker orchestration
- Apply MLOps practices (CI/CD, model versioning, monitoring, retraining) using MLflow, Kubeflow, SageMaker
- Collaborate with data engineers on ingestion, storage, and orchestration pipelines
- Conduct hyperparameter tuning, distributed training, and performance optimization
- Ensure compliance with data security, privacy, and Responsible AI standards
Skills
- Bachelor's/Master's in CS, Data Science, or related field
- 13+ years of AI/ML development experience
- Strong proficiency in Python, SQL
- Hands-on with PyTorch, TensorFlow, Scikit-learn
- Cloud AI services: AWS SageMaker, Azure ML, GCP AI Platform
- Expertise in Docker/Kubernetes and MLOps pipelines
- Experience with LLMs, orchestration, and RAG
- Exposure to Generative AI (GANs, diffusion models, prompt engineering)
- Knowledge of Reinforcement Learning, Graph Neural Networks (GNNs)
- Contributions to open-source AI/ML projects
