[Remote] Senior Android Engineer

The Senior Android Engineer will develop reliable, high-performance mobile software, own features from concept through deployment, and collaborate with backend, firmware, and hardware teams on connectivity, synchronization, and offline-first solutions.
Responsibilities
- 60% Android (Kotlin, Coroutines, Jetpack Compose)
- 20% Hardware communication (Bluetooth, USB, device protocols)
- 20% Collaboration with backend, firmware, and platform teams
- 70% Hands-on development
- 10% Technical planning and design
- 20% Cross-functional collaboration
Skills
- 5+ years of professional Android development experience
- Strong proficiency with Kotlin and modern Android architecture
- Experience building production applications using Coroutines
- Experience working with hardware-adjacent features (Bluetooth, USB, or similar)
- Ability to own features from concept through deployment
- Kotlin Multiplatform experience
- Jetpack Compose in production environments
- Experience working on SDKs or shared client libraries
- Exposure to IoT, satellite, or offline-first mobile systems
