[Remote] Senior Application Engineer

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Information Technology Strategies, Inc. is a government IT solutions provider servicing commercial and government initiative in various parts of the United States. We are currently seeking a Senior Application Engineer to work for our company, responsible for analyzing complex system requirements and managing software development.

Responsibilities

• Analyzes and studies complex system requirements
• Designs software tools and subsystems to support software reuse and domain analyses and manages their implementation
• Manage software development and support using formal specifications, data flow diagrams, other accepted design techniques and Computer-Aided Software Engineering (CASE) tools
• Estimates software development costs and schedule
• Reviews existing programs and assists in making refinements, reducing operating time and improving current techniques
• Supervises software configuration management

Skills

• Ten (10) years relevant experience
• BA/BS in a technical discipline
