[Remote] Senior Backend API Developer
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Intellectt Inc is seeking a Senior Backend API Developer to build and support production-grade enterprise backend software. The role focuses on developing cloud-native microservices, secure REST APIs, enterprise integrations, scalable systems, containerized deployments, CI/CD automation, testing, monitoring, performance optimization, and production troubleshooting.
Responsibilities
- Strong professional experience developing production-grade enterprise backend applications using Java or Python, with working knowledge of Golang
- Hands-on experience designing and developing scalable cloud-native microservices, secure REST APIs, integration layers, and enterprise system integrations
- Strong experience with containerized deployments, Kubernetes, Docker, Helm, CI/CD automation, automated testing, API validation, and cloud technologies
- Strong Linux/Unix troubleshooting, debugging, performance optimization, root-cause analysis, and production support experience
- Experience participating in architecture discussions, technical design decisions, code reviews, coding standards, and mentoring junior developers
- Experience collaborating with Product Owners, Architects, DevOps, QA, business stakeholders, and geographically distributed teams
- Experience in Telecommunications is highly desirable, with familiarity with Telecom OSS/BSS integrations and TM Forum Open APIs
- Knowledge of TM Forum Open APIs including TMF620, TMF641, TMF622, TMF633, TMF638, TMF640, and related APIs
- Experience with Kubernetes-based production deployments and Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform and Ansible
- Understanding of distributed systems and cloud-native architecture patterns
- Strong ownership and accountability, ability to work independently with minimal supervision, strong communication and stakeholder management skills, and a passion for engineering excellence and continuous improvement
