[Remote] Senior Data Engineer
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. The Ford Agency is recruiting for a Senior Data Engineer to join a top Washington, D.C. law firm. The role is responsible for developing and maintaining data pipelines and infrastructure that support the firm's reporting platforms, while ensuring data quality, automating workflows, and mentoring junior engineers.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement data pipelines across multiple environments and systems
- Partner closely with teams to translate data needs into technical solutions
- Maintain data quality and compliance while continuously refining data workflows
- Automate various data pipelines by utilizing CI/CD and orchestration tools
- Serve as a mentor to junior engineers
Skills
- Bachelor's Degree, ideally in Computer Science, Data Science, or Information Systems
- Highly adept in SQL, data warehousing, and performance tuning
- Competency with ETL tools, cloud data platforms, and Python or similar languages
- Strong communication & relationship-building skills
- Candidates for this position must be based in DC, MD, or VA area or have independent plans for relocation
- Relevant technical certifications preferred
- 5+ years of data engineering experience, legal or professional services exp. preferred
