[Remote] Senior Data Entry Analyst
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Kearney & Company is a government-focused firm providing financial services, including auditing, consulting, and technology services. The Senior Data Entry Analyst will support Air Force Financial Management operations by performing data entry and corrections, analyzing and reconciling financial transactions, resolving accounting issues, and assisting client teams and users.
Responsibilities
- Ability to navigate AF accounting systems as well as feeder systems to perform data entry and/or data correction
- Ability to analyze financial data using Microsoft Office products, including Excel and Power BI
- Ability to analyze/resolve accounting issues identified by FM customers
- Provide support to the other teams within SAF/FMF, e.g., surge and end of year processes
- Provide targeted assistance to users based on metrics, recurring critical task results, and results of other data analysis
Skills
- * Minimum 2.5 years of AF FM experience
- * Bachelor's Degree
- * Experience in DoD FM processes and procedures for posting accounting entries
- * Ability to brief and communicate effectively with senior leaders and managers
- * Ability to obtain a U.S. secret level security clearance (requires US Citizenship)
- * Familiarity with AF Lines of Accounting and financial data elements
- * Experience reconciling contract / obligation documents
- * Experience reviewing miscellaneous collection and disbursement vouchers
- * Experience reconciling D-to-O balancing
- * Experience reviewing an Open Document Listing
- * Experience researching dormant obligations
- * Experience with Microsoft Power BI, Microsoft Azure, or High bond
- * Familiarity with the following systems/software and terminology preferred
