[Remote] SENIOR DATA INTELLIGENCE ANALYST
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. ESFM, the corporate facilities management division of Compass Group USA, provides facilities management and related workplace services to clients across multiple industries. The Senior Data Intelligence Analyst will serve as a subject matter expert on data sources, develop Power BI reporting and analytical tools, support data governance and discovery, and ensure data integrity while collaborating with stakeholders and client teams.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with business stakeholders and subject matter experts to understand data requirements and translate them into technical specifications
- Maintain and develop new Power BI dashboards and reports per direction of the client and account team
- Deliver analytical tools that facilitate driving data-driven decision making and Insights
- Drive data governance, process, and master data maintenance within the CMMS platform (ServiceNow / Nuvolo) for the client
- Conduct comprehensive data discovery to understand the structure, content, and relationships within our data sources
- Employ SQL techniques for data querying, analysis, and validation
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to validate dashboards and reporting tools, ensuring alignment with business requirements and data integrity standards
- Nurture client and stakeholder relationships, providing thought leadership and proactive solutions
- Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in business intelligence and analytics
Skills
- 2-3 years of experience in business intelligence or business analytics, preferably in a client-facing role
- Advanced Power BI skills Including power query, DAX, data modeling, and advanced visualization
- Proven experience in data discovery and SQL
- Adept at transforming and manipulating data to deliver efficient data models and actionable insights
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey technical concepts to a non-technical audience
- Knowledge of data visualization best practices and trends
- Detail-oriented, organized, and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously
- Experience with facility services and/or hospitality data a plus
