[Remote] Senior DevOps Engineer
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Harnham is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to support a next-generation AI data platform. The role will own cloud infrastructure across GCP environments, develop Terraform-based infrastructure, maintain CI/CD pipelines, implement security controls, and establish observability and operational documentation.
Responsibilities
- Own the design, provisioning, and maintenance of cloud infrastructure across development, QA, and production environments. GCP
- Build and manage Infrastructure as Code solutions using Terraform
- Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines for platform services, APIs, and data processing workflows
- Implement security best practices, including IAM, secrets management, network security, and automated security testing
- Establish monitoring, logging, alerting, and reliability tooling to support platform operations
- Create operational documentation, runbooks, and knowledge transfer materials to support long-term platform ownership
Skills
- Strong hands-on experience managing enterprise environments in Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
- Advanced capability with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code practices
- Experience with Docker, containerized workloads, and cloud-native compute services
- Proven ability to build and optimize CI/CD pipelines using modern automation tools
- Strong knowledge of cloud security, networking, IAM, and secrets management
- Experience implementing observability solutions, including monitoring, logging, and alerting
- Familiarity with cross-cloud environments and integrations
- Experience supporting AI, machine learning, or large-scale data platforms is advantageous
