[Remote] Senior DevOps Engineer

Confluence is a leading global technology solutions provider to the investment management industry, and they are hiring for a Senior DevOps Engineer to support a major platform transformation. This role focuses on building and scaling the platform, designing CI/CD pipelines, and enabling efficient and reliable system deployment.
Responsibilities
- Build and scale DevOps foundations, not just maintain them
- Cloud first, Azure environment with modern tooling
- High ownership across CI/CD, infrastructure, and reliability
- Work closely with engineering teams on large scale systems
- Opportunity to shape platform standards and practices
Skills
- Experience in DevOps, SRE, or platform engineering roles
- Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform essential)
- Experience designing and managing CI/CD pipelines
- Experience working with cloud platforms (Azure preferred, AWS also considered)
- Experience with containerisation (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes)
- Experience with monitoring and observability tools (e.g. Prometheus, Grafana, ELK)
- Scripting or coding experience (Python, PowerShell or similar)
- Understanding of security, compliance, and deployment practices
- Comfortable working across infrastructure and development teams
- Experience supporting .NET or web based applications
- Exposure to hybrid or enterprise environments (cloud and on-prem)
- Experience with release strategies such as blue green or canary deployments
- Exposure to financial services or data platforms
- Experience with modern cloud architecture patterns
