[Remote] Senior DevOps Engineer/AWS/Azure
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. EPAM Systems is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer with strong AWS and Azure expertise. The role focuses on configuring cloud infrastructure, supporting migrations, building CI/CD pipelines, developing infrastructure as code, automating operational tasks, and managing GitLab-based deployment processes.
Responsibilities
- Set up and configure AWS/Azure infrastructure to support cloud migrations
- Create and configure virtual machines according to best practices
- Build and maintain application CI/CD pipelines
- Develop infrastructure as code using Terraform or CloudFormation
- Write automation scripts to streamline operational tasks
- Manage and maintain GitLab (DXOne) for build and deployment processes
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth migration execution
Skills
- 5+ years of experience in DevOps engineering with a focus on AWS/Azure infrastructure
- Skills in VM creation and configuration following best practices
- Expertise in application CI/CD and GitLab (DXOne)
- Proficiency in Terraform or CloudFormation for infrastructure as code
- Competency in automation scripting languages such as Python, Bash, and PowerShell
- English proficiency at B2 level or higher
- Knowledge of Kubernetes
- Familiarity with Terragrunt
- Background in monitoring tools such as CloudWatch, Datadog, Splunk, ELK, or Sumo Logic
- Understanding of other key AWS/Azure services
