[Remote] Senior Front End Software Engineer (Vault)

As a Senior Front End Engineer on the Vault team, you will impact how users create, organize, and access their sensitive information, while maintaining system reliability and performance.
Responsibilities
- Work collaboratively to break down and implement new features
- Write clean, efficient, well-tested, and well-documented code
- Take ownership of your work, partnering with QA to ensure that the appropriate parts of the application are tested and that tests are complete
- Establish standards and advocate for performance optimization, scalability, and maintainability
- Identify technical debt and collaborate with the team to minimize it
- Direct and support decisions for new frameworks and technical direction
- Review PRs and provide constructive, pointed feedback to help fellow team members grow
- Collaborate with the Bitwarden open-source community to review community contributions and address issues in Github
Skills
- Extensive experience with Angular, TypeScript, and RxJS for front-end development
- Strong technical writing skills and the ability to clearly communicate complex problems
- Understanding of relational database design, optimization, and SQL Server a strong plus
- Experience with Rust for cross-platform SDK development a strong plus
- Collaborative and adaptable mindset
- Openness and authenticity combined with excellent communication skills
- Excitement and enthusiasm for open source and for better internet security
- Excellent problem-solving skills – you might not know all the answers, but you know how to find and communicate the solution
