[Remote] Senior Frontend Software Developer
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Blooket is an education technology company that creates gamified learning experiences for students and tools for educators. The Senior Frontend Software Developer will build welcoming sitewide experiences, develop and design web interfaces, integrate frontend and backend functionality, and test and optimize user experiences.
Responsibilities
- Develop web pages using React, Next.js, Typescript, and CSS
- Design UI/UX for new and existing pages
- Work with other developers to integrate UI with backend functionality
- Test and optimize user interfaces
- Conduct experiments to find optimal page layouts
- Maintain the Blooket brand-identity through fun and interesting interfaces
Skills
- At least 5 years in a Frontend Development focused role
- A deep understanding of React, Next.js, Typescript, and CSS
- Strong knowledge of Next.js's server-side rendering
- A keen eye for details in user experience
- Creative and design skills to develop beautiful interfaces from scratch
- Portfolio of some relevant projects and designs
- Experience with containerized environments and build tools
- Experience building out shared frontend components and tools
- Strong knowledge of frontend technologies and passion to stay updated
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
