[Remote] Senior Full Stack Engineer - React,Java & AI/ML
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Dice is seeking a Senior Full Stack Engineer to build modern React-based user interfaces and contribute to Java backend services. The role focuses on developing scalable enterprise applications, integrating AI/ML and Generative AI capabilities, and collaborating across teams on secure, maintainable solutions.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop modern, responsive web applications using React, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and Next.js
- Build reusable UI components and maintain consistent, accessible user experiences across applications
- Develop and enhance backend services using Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, microservices, SQL, and PostgreSQL
- Integrate AI/ML and Generative AI capabilities into enterprise applications, including model or LLM integrations, intelligent workflows, and AI-driven user experiences
- Collaborate with product, design, architecture, and engineering teams to deliver secure, scalable, maintainable solutions
- Participate in API design, application troubleshooting, code reviews, testing, and performance optimization
- Follow clean-code, modern architecture, security, and Agile delivery practices
Skills
- 8+ years of full stack software engineering experience
- Strong recent hands-on experience developing front-end applications with React and modern JavaScript
- Experience with Next.js, reusable component development, responsive design, and UI performance optimization
- Solid backend development experience with Java, Spring Boot, RESTful APIs, microservices, SQL, and PostgreSQL
- Demonstrated experience implementing AI/ML or Generative AI solutions within production or enterprise applications
- Familiarity with AI integration patterns such as LLM APIs, RAG, vector search, prompt workflows, model inference, or AI-assisted automation
- Strong troubleshooting, debugging, communication, and Agile/Scrum delivery skills
- The strongest candidates will have a frontend-first React background combined with real hands-on experience building AI-enabled functionality. They should be able to clearly explain the AI use case, their personal technical contribution, the architecture, integrations, security considerations, and business outcome
- Experience working with GraphQL is preferred
