[Remote] Senior Full Stack Experience Engineer (React, Java, AWS & AI)

Dice is seeking a software engineer for a mission-driven higher education organization focused on technology-enabled learner experiences. The role will develop and enhance scalable full-stack web applications, AI-powered solutions, and personalized digital experiences while collaborating across product, design, architecture, and engineering teams.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, implement, test, and maintain software applications and services
- Gather and analyze business and system requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions
- Design and develop enhancements for large-scale software systems
- Create detailed technical specifications, documentation, and test plans
- Develop new functionality using modern web technologies and engineering best practices
- Modify and enhance existing applications while maintaining code quality and performance standards
- Perform unit testing, troubleshooting, debugging, and root-cause analysis
- Collaborate with product, design, architecture, and engineering teams to deliver high-quality software solutions
- Support software deployment, release management, and production implementations
- Conduct quality assurance reviews and post-implementation validation
- Resolve software defects and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
- Participate in technical discussions, code reviews, and architectural planning
Skills

- * Bachelor''s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field
- * 5 to 7 years of professional software engineering experience
- * Strong foundation in computer science concepts, including data structures, algorithms, and software design

- * Strong troubleshooting, debugging, and problem-solving skills
