[Remote] Senior Manager MPPS Project Management

The Senior Manager MPPS Project Management role provides top-level project management expertise, overseeing complex projects, approving plans and budgets, advising stakeholders, and mentoring project teams to ensure successful delivery.

Responsibilities

• Acts as a top-level specialist in project management, providing experience-based guidance and mentorship to support successful project execution
• Adapts project management methodologies and best practices to meet the unique needs of each project and ensure efficient and effective project delivery
• Advises project teams and stakeholders on project management principles, practices, and approaches to enhance project outcomes and mitigate risks
• Applies highly-developed project management skills to effectively plan, execute, and monitor complex projects, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives
• Approves project plans, budgets, and resource allocations, authorizing project initiation and ensuring adherence to project governance and standards
• Benchmarks project performance against industry standards, best practices, and key performance indicators, identifying opportunities for improvement and driving excellence
• Checks project deliverables, milestones, and timelines to ensure timely and accurate project completion, providing guidance and support to project teams as needed
• Coaches project managers and team members, providing mentorship, guidance, and support to enhance work area project management skills and contribute to key professional growth
• Consults on project management practices, processes, and tools, collaborating with stakeholders to establish effective project management frameworks and ensure successful project outcomes

• Candidate may reside anywhere in the US. Eastern or Central time zone preferred
• Bachelor's degree preferred/specialized training/relevant professional qualification
• PMP or lean six sigma certification preferred
