[Remote] Senior Software Development Engineer

The Senior Software Development Engineer is responsible for end-to-end application development and delivery, including production deployment, application operationalization, and observability. The role involves collaborating with engineers to plan, prioritize, and complete assigned tasks within deadlines.
Responsibilities
- The Senior Software Development Engineer will be responsible for end-to-end application development & delivery including production deployment, application operationalization, and observability
- In this role, the right candidate will be a technologist and work with other Engineers in planning, prioritizing and performing assigned tasks within deadlines
Skills
- 5+ years of experience in software engineering (Technical Lead and Developer)
- Strong proficiency in mid-range operating systems (Linux, AIX)
- Deep understanding of non-functional requirements (SLAs, latency, real-time/near–real-time processing, multithreading) with the ability to design systems that meet them
- 5+ years of full-stack development experience
- 5+ years of experience with IBM Sterling Transformation Extender
- Familiarity with DevOps ecosystems including Kubernetes, Jenkins, Octopus, Docker, and Git
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage stakeholder expectations effectively
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience (Highschool diploma plus 4 years relevant work experience)
- Experience in the healthcare domain
- Hands-on full‑stack development background
- Experience collaborating with distributed teams across multiple time zones
