[Remote] Senior Software Engineer

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Provn is recruiting for arrivia, a travel technology company formed from the merger of ICE, SOR Technology, and WMPH Vacations, with a customer-first culture focused on travel experiences. The Senior Software Engineer will design, build, and operate scalable, reliable software for arrivia's travel platform, owning features and services end to end. The role emphasizes high-performance systems, distributed architecture, production operations, engineering quality, and effective use of AI coding agents.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and operate the software that powers arrivia's travel platform, owning significant features and services end to end, from design through production
• You'll set a high bar for engineering quality on the teams you work with, using AI coding agents to move faster without compromising on quality, security, or maintainability
• You'll build scalable, reliable systems with the observability, failover, and operational practices needed to run them in production at scale, and you'll design and tune low-latency, high-performance services to meet real-world latency and throughput targets
• You'll make sound architectural and technology decisions for the areas you own, working with a high degree of independence, with your work reviewed for technical quality and delivery outcomes rather than task by task

• You fit if you bring 5 to 8 years of full-stack development building web applications and services, with demonstrated experience shipping a consumer or enterprise application that ran in production and served real users
• You've worked at a mature engineering organization with established development, testing, code review, release, and operational practices, and you have hands-on experience designing and operating low-latency, high-performance systems, not just prototypes
• You're proficient in one or more of TypeScript/JavaScript, Python, or C#/.NET, comfortable with a modern frontend framework, and you have solid experience with RESTful API design, distributed systems, and microservices
