[Remote] Senior Software Engineer
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Insight Global is hiring a Senior Software Engineer / Cloud Engineer to join an engineering team focused on designing, building, and optimizing modern cloud infrastructure and data-driven systems. The role involves developing scalable AWS solutions and backend services, implementing CI/CD and Infrastructure as Code, architecting distributed systems, and mentoring engineers.
Responsibilities
- Design and build scalable, high-performance AWS solutions
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub or GitLab
- Leverage Python to create robust backend and infrastructure services
- Implement Infrastructure as Code with Terraform, CloudFormation, or AWS CDK
- Architect low-latency, highly available distributed systems
- Mentor engineers, conduct code reviews, and drive technical excellence
- Collaborate with engineering, data, and product teams to solve complex challenges
Skills
- • 5+ years of software engineering experience
- • Deep Python development expertise (DEEP OBJECT-ORIENTED LANGUAGE)
- • Strong AWS experience, especially with Lambda, ECS, Kinesis, S3, IAM, and SNS
- • Proven DevOps experience with CI/CD, automation, containerization, and testing
- • Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, AWS CDK)
- • Strong understanding of distributed systems, data management, and scalable architectures
