[Remote] Senior Software Engineer (Full stack)
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Titus is building payment infrastructure for real estate and is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to contribute to a product reshaping the industry. The role involves building and shipping full-stack product features, with a strong emphasis on frontend interaction design, leading projects end to end, and improving architecture, data modeling, and the design system.
Responsibilities
- Build and ship new product features from database to UI, with extra weight on the UI and the interaction design
- Lead projects end to end: take an ambiguous problem, scope it with product and design, break it into shippable pieces, and drive it to done
- Scope aggressively. Find the smallest version that solves the real problem, ship it, and iterate from what you learn
- Work across our TypeScript / React / Node.js / Postgres / GCP stack
- Partner with design from the first sketch, not the handoff. Push back on flows, prototype alternatives, help decide what ships
- Contribute to architecture and data modeling as we scale, including the event-driven pieces behind money movement
- Raise the bar on our component library and design system
- Own the details that make a product feel finished: loading and empty states, error copy, keyboard paths, perceived performance
Skills
- Solid professional experience building and shipping software across both frontend and backend systems
- Deep TypeScript and React . You have opinions about state management, forms, and component APIs, and reasons for them
- Real product judgment. You catch the flow problem in the mock before it ships, you can argue for a simpler version of the feature, and you push back when something shouldn't be built at all
- You scope your own work. You can turn a vague ask into a plan, break it into pieces that ship independently, and cut what isn't worth building
- Care about UX craft: responsive layouts, accessibility, motion, latency
- Comfortable in Node.js and Postgres . You can model a schema and design an API you won't resent in a year
- Collaborative, curious, and kind
- Owned a design system or component library
- Fluent in Figma, or you prototype in code to explore a design
- Exposure to financial, payments, or real-time systems
- You've made AI tooling actually pay off in your own work, and can say concretely how
- Prior startup or small-team experience
Benefits
- Competitive equity
- Benefits
- Fully remote
- Coworking space reimbursement
