[Remote] Senior Software Engineer, Fullstack

The Senior Software Engineer, Fullstack will lead frontend architecture and develop responsive web applications for custom video management software, ensuring low-latency video playback and user-centric features.
Responsibilities
- Architect and execute frontend web applications using React, TypeScript, and Node.js for Flock's custom Video Management Software
- Build low-latency, interactive live video playback features and real-time alert dashboards across client platforms
- Implement performant UI optimizations to ensure smooth, responsive user experiences across diverse devices and browsers
- Design and integrate clean APIs connecting web clients to cloud video microservices and storage platforms
- Collaborate cross-functionally with product, design, and backend engineering teams to deliver user-centric video capabilities
Skills
- Demonstrated frontend development experience with deep mastery of React, TypeScript, and Node.js web services
- Capability to diagnose and implement UI performance optimizations across data-heavy, real-time web applications
- Practical understanding of web API design and client-server communication
- Working familiarity with cloud tooling and containerized services using AWS, Docker, or Kubernetes
- Resourceful problem-solving mindset with a commitment to continuous learning in fast-paced software environments
