[Remote] Senior Software Engineer – Python/TypeScript & React
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. New York Technology Partners is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to design, develop, and maintain scalable full stack applications. The role focuses on Python and/or TypeScript backend services, React user interfaces, AWS cloud-native solutions, and collaboration with cross-functional engineering teams while driving software design, code quality, and system performance best practices.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable full stack applications
- Build and enhance backend services using Python and/or TypeScript
- Develop responsive user interfaces using React
- Design and support cloud-native solutions on AWS
- Collaborate with product, architecture, and engineering teams to deliver high-quality solutions
- Drive best practices in software design, code quality, and system performance
Skills
- • 10+ years of software engineering experience
- • Strong experience with Python and/or TypeScript
- • Hands-on expertise with AWS services and cloud architecture
- • Advanced React development experience
- • Experience with RESTful APIs, microservices, and distributed systems
- • Knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases
- • Experience with CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes, Git, and Agile methodologies
- • Terraform and Infrastructure as Code experience
- • Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as CloudWatch, Datadog, or ELK
- • Strong leadership, mentoring, and technical design experience
