[Remote] Senior Software Engineer (Ruby)

The Senior Software Engineer will shape the company’s technology and platform by building high-quality, scalable, and maintainable full-stack applications, with a primary focus on backend engineering and cross-functional collaboration.

Skills
- 5+ years of hands-on experience designing, building, and deploying production-ready software using Ruby (and frameworks such as Ruby on Rails) and some familiarity or willingness to work with modern front-end technologies (React, Typescript) when needed
- Proven track record of delivering high-quality, reliable software
- Deep expertise in backend development. You understand API design, data modeling, performance optimization, and security best practices - while still keeping the user experience in mind
- Versatility and willingness to learn. You're primarily focused on the backend, but you're comfortable stepping into front-end or infrastructure tasks when needed - whether its debugging a React component, fixing a security vulnerability, or helping optimize CI/CD pipelines
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills, comfortable partnering with cross-functional teams to deliver seamless product experiences
