[Remote] Senior Technical Program Manager
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Skan AI is pioneering a context engine for human and agentic execution that helps large organizations automate complex, mission-critical work. The Senior Technical Program Manager will own the development plan for the data pipeline powering the agentic platform, coordinate Process Intelligence, AI Data Science, and Agent teams, and drive roadmaps, release readiness, dependencies, risks, and technical decisions.
Responsibilities
- Define and sequence the work. Partner with engineering and data science leaders to scope pipeline and integration work, and own the plans, timelines, and resourcing to land it
- Own release readiness. Drive readiness checklists, dependency and blocker tracking, and go/no-go across teams
- Be the integration point across three teams. Coordinate between Process Intelligence, AI Data Science, and Agent teams, owning the shared roadmap and the day-to-day on dependencies, interfaces, and incidents. Surface blockers before they become emergencies
- Report status and risk clearly. Give engineering leadership and executives a straight view of program status, risks, and blockers
- Pressure-test the technical plan. Walk into design discussions, understand the trade-offs, and ask the questions that need asking. Help the team decide, don't just document decisions
Skills
- 6+ years in technical program or technical project management, including programs that spanned multiple teams and systems
- A software engineering background. You've built and shipped software yourself before moving into program management
- Enough technical depth to follow architecture discussions, challenge an engineering plan, and spot risk in a technical approach
- Comfortable coordinating work across distributed teams and time zones
- Systems-level scope: you've managed how multiple services, teams, and products come together, and you've shipped to external customers, not just run internal dev cycles
- Comfort in a startup or high-ambiguity environment where you had to build process, not just follow it
- Bachelor's degree in a technical or business field, such as Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or equivalent practical experience
- Familiarity with durable workflow orchestration, Kubernetes-based delivery, and multi-provider LLM gateways
- Experience shipping software to both cloud and on-prem or customer-managed environments
- Familiarity with AI/ML, automation, and data products
- Process mining, workflow mining, or BPMN exposure
- Insurance or financial services experience
- A mix of startup and larger-company experience
Benefits
- Full-Time employment
- On-site work model
- Collaboration across distributed teams and time zones
- Equal opportunity workplace committed to building a diverse, inclusive, and respectful workplace
- Reasonable accommodations throughout the hiring process
