[Remote] Software Configuration Analyst / Principal Software Configuration Analyst
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Northrop Grumman is seeking a Software Configuration Analyst or Principal Software Configuration Analyst to develop, enforce, and maintain software configuration management processes. The role supports programs by coordinating builds, administering SCM tools, documenting control board decisions and deliveries, and managing changes to program data and products.
Responsibilities
- Coordinating/creating configured builds for test and delivery

Skills
- Bachelor's degree in STEM discipline (Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics) with at least 2 years of related experience; Master's with 0 years of experience
- Prior professional work experience in software configuration management or within a related area
- Experience with coordinating/creating configured builds for test and delivery
- Understanding of SCM principles, concepts, industry practices and standards is required
- Familiarity with Agile methodology and working as a member of a software development team in an Agile environment
- Ability to Obtain a D.O.D issued clearance, U.S. Citizenship is required
- Bachelor's degree in STEM discipline (Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics) with at least 5 years of related experience, 3 years with a Master's, 0 years with a PhD
- Prior professional work experience in software configuration management or within a related area
- Experience with coordinating/creating configured builds for test and delivery
- Understanding of SCM principles, concepts, industry practices and standards is required
- Ability to Obtain a D.O.D issued clearance, U.S. Citizenship is required
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or related technical area
- Experience with implementing SCM on a large-scale program
- Experience with software source control and configuration management tools and environments (Atlassian, Git, Jira, ClearCase, ClearQuest, Linux and Windows)
- Experience in configuring and administering DevOps tools, including Jenkins, Gitlab Pipelines/Runners to streamline CI/CD processes
- Experience in scripting languages such as Bash, Python or PowerShell
- Active DoD Secret clearance or higher
