[Remote] Software Engineer
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. XAnalytix Systems develops research and development solutions across multiple technical and national security domains. The Software Engineer will provide software and integration support, solve complex customer and mission problems, contribute to a small team, and collaborate with customers, academic colleagues, and industry partners.
Responsibilities
- Provide software and integration support in a classified lab
- Contribute to the direction and success of a small, talented team with your individual expertise
- Identify, analyze, and decompose challenging problems and customer requirements and then develop innovative solutions to problems in domain areas such as: space situational awareness; SATCOM planning; decentralized mission planning and data-fusion
- Engage with our customers, academic colleagues, and industry partners to ensure that we provide state of the art, mission relevant solutions to some of our nation’s most challenging and constantly evolving national security concerns
Skills
- A B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science or a related field
- 3+ years of experience
- Hold an active clearance
- Experience with Rust, Python, Java and/or C++
- While this is a remote position there is a requirement for the candidate to be near specific lab locations for the semi-frequent test and integration events. We are looking for a candidate in San Diego, CA or within driving distance of State College, PA
- Experience working in Defense Industry
- Experience working in the Aerospace domain
- Experience working in Mission Planning
- Experience working as a Full Stack engineer. Expectation is the work will be mostly backend, but with a need to debug frontend issues
