[Remote] Software Engineer

Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement new algorithms and tools within our monitoring software platform
- Conduct routine and non-routine testing on existing algorithms to identify bugs and areas for optimization
- Document algorithm implementation, user requirements, and specifications
- Follow established patterns and build upon existing models
- Apply structured, scientific problem-solving approaches to technical challenges
- Contribute to the understanding and implementation of complex system designs
- Estimate time required to complete familiar tasks and projects accurately
- Communicate effectively and collaborate well within a team environment
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams through clear communication and strong interpersonal skills
- Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and team knowledge sharing
- Use version control systems (e.g., Git) and collaboration tools as part of the development workflow
Skills
- Bachelors degree in computer science or like filed
- 2-5 years hands on experience in C# and Python
- Project-based software development experience
- Familiarity with algorithm development and software testing practices
- Successfully pass background check for cybersecurity site access
- Bachelor of Science in Mechanical, Electrical, or Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
- Experience with monitoring or industrial software applications
- Exposure to integrating mechanical or electronic systems, instrumentation, or control logic is a plus
