[Remote] Software Engineer
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Turing is a research accelerator for frontier AI labs and a partner for enterprises deploying advanced AI systems. The Software Engineer will help evaluate and enhance AI systems by designing software and algorithmic problems, writing coding solutions, assessing AI responses, and collaborating with researchers on code generation and problem-solving workflows.
Responsibilities
- In this role, you will contribute to projects that help evaluate and enhance AI systems using your software engineering expertise and analytical problem-solving skills
- Design and solve real-world software engineering and algorithmic problems to test AI reasoning
- Write clear, step-by-step coding solutions across data structures, APIs, debugging, and optimization techniques
- Evaluate AI responses for accuracy, efficiency, and adherence to software design principles
- Collaborate with researchers to refine AI understanding of code generation, problem-solving, and real-world development workflows
Skills
- 4+ years of experience as a Software Developer, Engineer, or Programmer
- Background in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
- Proficiency in one or more languages: Python, Java, JavaScript, C++, or Go
- Excellent English communication and ability to document and explain code logic clearly
- Familiarity with Git, REST APIs, and agile development methodologies preferred
