[Remote] Software Engineer
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Akamai Technologies is hiring a Software Engineer to design, develop, and maintain infrastructure supporting ML pipelines and CI/CD. The role involves analyzing infrastructure performance, collaborating with data and software teams, managing feature stores and model registries, writing maintainable code, and documenting technical processes.
Responsibilities
- Designing, developing, and maintaining infrastructure for various business use cases including ML pipelines and CI/DCD
- Analyzing and interpreting data to ensure infrastructure performance and identify areas for improvement
- Collaborating with data scientists, machine learning engineers, and software developers to achieve common goals
- Developing and managing feature stores and model registries to ensure data and model governance
- Writing clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices
- Documenting code and technical processes for future reference
Skills
- Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical & Computer Engineering, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Information Systems, Information Technology, or Telecommunications Engineering, plus 6 months of experience in the job offered or closely related engineering role
- Must have: Six (6) months of experience with the following: Apache Spark, Amazon Web Services (AWS), Apache Airflow, Python, Scala, SQL, Big-Data, Hadoop MapReduce, Git, and Jenkins
