[Remote] Software Engineer
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Software Guidance & Assistance, Inc. is seeking a Software Engineer for a contract assignment supporting a regulatory client in the DMV area. The role requires experience developing Java applications and microservices, working with AWS, REST APIs, databases, testing frameworks, automation, performance testing, and CI/CD tools in an Agile environment.
Skills
- 3-5+ years of experience and Background in Computer Science
- Development experience with Java 8/8+
- Experience with Service Oriented Architecture and REST APIs
- Experience with AWS Cloud Services, SQS, SNS, S3, EC2, EMR Clusters etc
- Proficiency with SQL Queries
- Experience with RESTAssured Testing framework
- Springboot MicroServices Architecture
- Experience with Typescript Technologies like Angular (Latest version), React etc
- Experience with Browser Automation Frameworks Selenium
- Familiarity with basic Linux OS Commands
- Experience with Test Plans, Test Scenarios, Test Case Creation
- Experience with Cucumber framework on UI automation
- Experience with Stress, Load and Performance Testing (JMeter/Gatling)
- DEV and Build Tools like Maven, Git, Bitbucket, JIRA, Splunk, Confluence, Sharepoint, Postman
- CI/CD Framework Jenkins, Jenkins Pipelines
- Experience working in Agile Environment
