[Remote] Software Engineer
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Mayzax Solutions is seeking an entry-level Python Software Engineer to join its technology team. The role involves building and maintaining software applications, developing REST APIs and backend services, working with databases, troubleshooting issues, and collaborating on testing, documentation, and code reviews.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain applications using Python
- Build and integrate REST APIs and backend services
- Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code
- Work with databases and basic SQL queries
- Debug and troubleshoot application issues
- Participate in code reviews, testing, and documentation
- Collaborate with developers and other teams
- Use Git/GitHub for version control
Skills
- Strong understanding of Python and OOP concepts
- Basic knowledge of Data Structures & Algorithms
- Familiarity with SQL, REST APIs, and JSON
- Knowledge of Git/GitHub
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science, IT, Software Engineering, or related field
- Django, Flask, or FastAPI
- PostgreSQL/MySQL/MongoDB
- Docker or AWS
- Experience with personal, academic, or internship projects
- Candidates with GitHub projects or relevant internship experience
