[Remote] Software Engineer
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. DentalFynd is an AI marketplace platform for purchasing dental services such as cleanings, whitenings, and aligners. The company is seeking a Software Engineer for a remote contract role to develop and maintain software systems, troubleshoot issues, build applications and AI sales infrastructure, and collaborate with Sales and Marketing on new products and enhancements.
Responsibilities
- Fixing bugs on website
- Creating mobile app
- Populating our database
- Scouring and aggregating web data
- Building AI sales pipeline
- Improving infrastructure scalability and resilience
- Work closely with Sales and Marketing to define and deliver new products and enhancements
Skills
- 2-4 years of professional software development experience
- Experience with Java, Python, C++ and other programming languages
- Knowledge SQL, noSQL, graph and/or timeseries databases, e.g MongoDB
- Experience with AWS or other public cloud provider, containerized deployments, Kubernetes, Docker
- Experience developing web applications using at least one popular web framework (JSF, GWT, Spring MVC)
- Proficiency in Programming and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP)
- Experience with database management and APIs
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Previous experience building payments products is a plus
- Experience in the healthcare or dental industry is a plus
