[Remote] Software Engineer
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Arkhya Tech. Inc. is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to design, develop, test, and maintain enterprise-grade web applications and backend services. The role focuses on Core Java, Spring, REST APIs, Angular, SQL, scripting, application performance, production support, and collaboration with cross-functional Agile teams.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain enterprise applications using Core Java and Spring Framework
- Develop scalable backend services and RESTful APIs
- Build responsive and user-friendly web applications using Angular
- Create and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and database objects
- Integrate front-end applications with backend services and APIs
- Develop automation scripts using Shell, Python, JavaScript, or other scripting languages
- Participate in requirement analysis, solution design, code reviews, and technical discussions
- Troubleshoot production issues and provide timely resolutions
- Ensure application performance, security, scalability, and reliability
- Work closely with QA, DevOps, Business Analysts, and Product Owners in an Agile environment
- Mentor junior developers and contribute to technical best practices
Skills
- Strong hands-on experience in Core Java
- Expertise in Spring Framework, Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Data JPA
- Experience with Microservices architecture
- Strong knowledge of RESTful API development and integration
- Hands-on experience with Angular
- Good understanding of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, TypeScript
- Experience in responsive UI development
- Strong SQL programming skills
- Experience with Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or MySQL
- Database design, query optimization, and performance tuning
- Experience in Shell Scripting, Python, or JavaScript scripting
- Git, Maven, Gradle
- Postman, Swagger/OpenAPI
- CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
- Ability to work independently and within distributed teams
- Strong ownership and accountability mindset
- Experience with Cloud Platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP)
- Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes
- Familiarity with authentication protocols (OAuth2, JWT, SSO)
- Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodology
- Experience working on large-scale enterprise applications
