[Remote] Software Engineer

They are seeking a Software Engineer to design, build, and operate highly scalable cloud-native services that power mission-critical applications globally.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and support scalable microservices, APIs, and modern web applications
- Own features from design through production, with a focus on reliability, scalability, and performance
- Collaborate with Product, Architecture, QA, and Engineering to deliver customer value
- Improve platform observability, CI/CD, cloud infrastructure, and engineering automation
- Mentor teammates through code reviews, technical discussions, and knowledge sharing
- Leverage AI tools and automation to accelerate development, improve software quality, reduce repetitive work, and continuously enhance engineering practices
Skills
- 5+ years of professional software engineering experience
- Strong experience with .NET Core/C#, Scala, Java, or similar backend technologies
- Experience building distributed systems, microservices, or cloud-native SaaS applications on AWS
- Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, REST APIs, and React or Angular
- Strong problem-solving skills, engineering ownership, and a passion for building reliable software
- Experience using AI developer tools such as GitHub Copilot, Cursor, ChatGPT, Claude, or similar, with an interest in applying AI to code generation, testing, debugging, documentation, and engineering automation
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience
