[Remote] Software Engineer, Data Privacy
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Temu is seeking motivated Software Engineers to join its growing team. The Software Engineer, Data Privacy will develop scalable backend infrastructure for data lifecycle management and governance, build secure data processing frameworks that support regulatory compliance, and engineer automated monitoring and risk detection solutions.
Responsibilities
- Develop scalable backend infrastructure to support end-to-end data lifecycle management and governance
- Design and implement core frameworks and tooling to enable secure data processing and ensure regulatory compliance across the organization
- Engineer automated solutions for real-time system monitoring, risk detection, and operational resilience
Skills
- 3+ years in software engineering with strong CS fundamentals
- Strong capabilities in system design and distributed systems principles
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and a high sense of ownership
- BS in Computer Science or equivalent
- Prior experience with Java is a plus
- Experience with privacy compliance is a plus
