[Remote] Software Engineer III

EPITEC is seeking an experienced Software Engineer to support the development, enhancement, and maintenance of business-critical enterprise applications. The role involves delivering scalable software solutions, troubleshooting technical issues, optimizing system performance, and contributing to the full software development lifecycle in collaboration with technical and business teams.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, enhance, and maintain enterprise applications and software solutions
- Install, configure, and support software systems and related technologies
- Analyze system performance and identify opportunities for improvement
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve application and system issues
- Perform software testing, debugging, and code optimization activities
- Develop and implement technical solutions to meet business and operational needs
- Monitor applications and systems to ensure optimal performance and reliability
- Create technical documentation, reports, and solution recommendations
- Collaborate with developers, engineers, and cross-functional teams on project initiatives
- Contribute to system upgrades, enhancements, and new application deployments
- Provide technical guidance and support to junior team members when needed
- Manage multiple priorities and projects in a fast-paced environment
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field
- Minimum 5 years of software engineering or application development experience
- Experience developing, maintaining, and supporting enterprise applications
- Strong understanding of software development principles and system architecture
- Experience troubleshooting and resolving complex technical issues
- Knowledge of software testing, debugging, and performance optimization techniques
- Ability to work independently while collaborating across technical teams
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience evaluating system performance and implementing process improvements
- Ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously
- Understanding of application integration and enterprise computing environments
- Proven ability to deliver high-quality technical solutions in a collaborative setting
