[Remote] Software Engineer - Remote

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Genesis10 is a staffing and recruiting firm placing consultants and employees with organizations across the United States. The company is seeking a Software Engineer to develop scalable, secure microservices and system integrations for an Enterprise Information Protection team, while also building responsive React web applications and supporting DevOps practices.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain highly scalable, secure, and resilient microservices using Java, Spring Boot, and cloud-native technologies
• Architect and implement robust backend solutions following microservices architecture, domain-driven design, and event-driven patterns
• Lead the design, development, security, and troubleshooting of RESTful APIs and integrations
• Develop reusable backend components and services, ensuring adherence to coding standards and security requirements
• Implement and optimize API gateways, service discovery, load balancing, caching, and resiliency patterns
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate multiple products, platforms, and services
• Write comprehensive unit, integration, contract, and end-to-end tests using JUnit, Mockito, and related frameworks
• Troubleshoot complex production issues and drive root cause analysis
• Build and support CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure automation, and DevOps practices
• Develop and enhance responsive, user-friendly web applications using React, JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS
• Collaborate with UX/UI designers and backend teams to implement frontend features and integrate APIs
• Partner with business stakeholders and product owners to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions

• * Frontend: React, TypeScript/JavaScript, Redux/Context API, HTML5, CSS3, REST API Integration
• * DevOps & Tools: Git, Jenkins/GitHub Actions, SonarQube, JUnit, Mockito, Swagger/OpenAPI, Monitoring & Logging tools
