[Remote] Software Engineering Intern

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Obble provides a product development environment where interns work on real customer-facing issues and receive close mentorship from engineers. The Software Engineering Intern will build and ship product features, write and maintain tests, and develop the ability to understand and navigate an existing codebase.

Responsibilities

• Build and ship features in the product, with review and a real bar for quality
• Write tests for what you build, and fix what they catch
• Read more code than you write, at least at first. Understanding a codebase is the skill

Skills

• • Working knowledge of TypeScript or Python, and something you built that we can look at
• • Available for at least three months, mostly full-time
• • You ask questions early instead of getting stuck quietly
• • React, Node, Postgres, or anything involving language models
• • Open-source contributions, side projects, or a hackathon you cared about
