[Remote] Software Integration Engineer/Remote

Apetan Consulting LLC is seeking a Software Integration Engineer to design, develop, and maintain integrations among applications, systems, APIs, and third-party platforms. The role involves developing APIs and data transformation processes, troubleshooting integration issues, supporting testing and deployment, and ensuring integration reliability and performance.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop integrations between internal and external applications and systems
- Develop and maintain REST APIs, web services, and integration solutions
- Integrate third-party applications, platforms, and services
- Analyze integration requirements and translate them into technical solutions
- Develop data mapping, transformation, and validation processes
- Troubleshoot integration issues and resolve production defects
- Work with development and QA teams on integration testing and deployment
- Monitor integrations and ensure reliability, performance, and availability
- Maintain technical documentation for APIs, interfaces, and integration workflows
- Follow software development, security, and coding best practices
- Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and Agile development activities
Skills
- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- Strong programming experience in Java, Python, C#, or similar languages
- Good knowledge of REST APIs, JSON, XML, HTTP, and web services
- Experience with API integration and third-party system integration
- Understanding of databases and SQL
- Experience with Git and standard software development practices
- Good troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
