They are seeking a Senior Data Engineer to build the next generation of data tools for their retail and commerce loyalty platform, focusing on extracting insights from transactional data.
Responsibilities

- Utilizing advanced AI techniques to transform raw data into strategic intelligence
Skills
- 5+ years of experience in data engineering or related roles
- Experience leading projects and collaborating across teams
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication skills for stakeholder engagement
- Commitment to staying updated with industry technology trends
- Hands-on experience building with LLMs and coding agents to amplify day-to-day output, including the harnesses and internal tooling that let you and the rest of the team move faster
- Programming: Python, SQL, Terraform
- Strong understanding of data modeling concepts and practices
- Big Data Technologies: Spark, Databricks, Structured Streaming
- Relational (Postgres) and NoSQL (DynamoDB) databases
- CI/CD: CircleCI, DroneCI, Github Actions, Spacelift
- Monitoring & Observability: DataDog
- Cloud Platforms: AWS or Azure and their data solutions
- Understanding data privacy, security, and governance practices
- Ability to integrate AI/ML models into data pipelines
- Experience with Claude Code, Cursor, Copilot, MCP, Agent Orchestrators
- Version Control: Git, Github
