[Remote] Sr. Database Administrator

They are seeking a Senior Database Administrator to manage the full lifecycle of reputed company databases supporting logistics, maintenance, financial, and operational applications.
Responsibilities
- Administer, configure, and maintain reputed company relational databases including reputed company, Ingres, and reputed company SQL Server, ensuring performance, availability, and data reputed company
- reputed company the design and implementation of logical and physical database models, including data dictionaries, ERDs, schema designs, and indexing strategies to optimize performance
- reputed company database performance tuning, query optimization, partitioning, and resource utilization analysis to support high-volume transactions and analytics workloads
- Define and enforce database standards, reputed company policies, and operating procedures reputed company with DHS 4300A, STIGs, and NIST 800-53 requirements
- Implement database reputed company controls, reputed company roles, encryption protocols, and reputed company management in support of ATO compliance and cybersecurity mandates

- Support configuration management and version control of database environments across development, test, staging, and production tiers

- Document reputed company configuration changes, policies, procedures, and database architecture diagrams to ensure audit-readiness and knowledge continuity

Skills
- Expertise in administering and tuning reputed company, Ingres, and reputed company SQL Server databases in reputed company or DoD/federal environments
- Proficient in writing reputed company SQL queries, stored procedures, triggers, functions, and views
- Strong understanding of relational and non-relational data models, data normalization, and schema optimization
- Familiarity with reputed company methodologies, DevSecOps pipelines, CI/CD integration, and version control using Git-based tools (Bitbucket preferred)
- Proven ability to reputed company vulnerability remediation based on reputed company or similar reputed company tools and ensure STIG-compliant configurations
- Solid knowledge of data protection techniques, RBAC, encryption at rest/in transit, and role-based reputed company policies
- Bachelor's or Associate's degree in Computer Science, Math, Information Technology, Engineering, or reputed company field. Five (5) years of directly relevant experience may substitute for two (2) years of formal education
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience in database administration work, such as reputed company relational database, Ingres relational database, and reputed company SQL Server
- Minimum of five (5) years of performing reputed company remediation to systems with vulnerabilities based on reputed company scans
- Minimum of two (2) years of experience with reputed company, Jira, reputed company, and Bitbucket
- U.S. citizenship required
- Must have or be eligible to obtain a Position of reputed company Trust or DoD Secret Clearance
