[Remote] Sr. Frontend Software Engineer - JavaScript, HTML, CSS - REMOTE

They are seeking a Senior Frontend Software Engineer to build high-quality web experiences and optimize CMS-driven websites, focusing on engagement, accessibility, and performance.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain modern, responsive web applications and CMS-based websites
- Build accessible, secure, and high-performing user experiences using JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML, and CSS
- Manage and enhance CMS platforms, including custom themes, modules, and plugins
- Ensure compliance with SEO best practices, analytics tracking, and privacy compliance standards
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver new features and improve user engagement
- Ensure quality through testing, code reviews, and CI/CD best practices
- Contribute to platform performance, reliability, monitoring, and scalability initiatives
- Provide technical leadership, mentor engineers, and support architectural decisions
Skills
- 7+ years of software development experience with strong focus on frontend development
- 5+ years of experience with JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML, and CSS; React experience preferred
- Experience with Drupal and/or WordPress development and administration
- Working knowledge of PHP; experience with Python or Golang is a plus
- Experience with SEO, web analytics, and performance optimization
- Familiarity with Varnish, Solr, Git, CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and Kubernetes
- Cloud experience, preferably AWS
- Strong understanding of testing, security, accessibility, and modern web development best practices
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience
- Linux experience and comfort working in a remote environment
