[Remote] Sr. Frontend Software Engineer - JavaScript, HTML, CSS - REMOTE

CyberCoders is recruiting for a mission-driven team creating digital products that help family healthcare workers navigate and manage their responsibilities with confidence. The Senior Frontend Software Engineer will build high-quality, accessible, secure, and high-performing web experiences, advance frontend architecture, optimize CMS-driven websites, and provide technical leadership. The role also involves collaborating across teams, ensuring software quality, supporting platform scalability, and managing CMS platforms.
Responsibilities
- Build accessible, secure, and high-performing user experiences using JavaScript/TypeScript, React, HTML, and CSS
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver new features and improve user engagement
- Ensure quality through testing, code reviews, and CI/CD best practices
- Contribute to platform performance, reliability, monitoring, and scalability initiatives
- Provide technical leadership, mentor engineers, and support architectural decisions
- Manage and enhance CMS platforms, including custom themes, modules, and plugins
- Ensure compliance with SEO best practices
Skills
- 7+ years of software development experience with strong focus on frontend development
- 5+ years of experience with JavaScript/TypeScript, React, HTML, and CSS
- Experience with Drupal and/or WordPress development and administration is a plus
- Working knowledge of PHP or Python or Golang for back-end development
- Familiarity with Varnish, Solr, Git, CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and Kubernetes
- Cloud experience, preferably AWS
- Strong understanding of testing, security, accessibility, and modern web development best practices
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience
- Linux experience and comfort working in a remote environment
