[Remote] Sr Manager, Software Development (Remote)

The Sr Manager, Software Development will build and manage a high performing, collaborative, and inclusive team to achieve diverse objectives, develop strategies for effective designs, and ensure alignment with controls and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Build and manage a high performing, collaborative, and inclusive team
• Develop and execute a strategy that focuses on effective and efficient designs, test and resilience processes, integration across dependent software and service components, improve common frameworks, tooling, and reuse where applicable
• Lead teams that deliver on multiple projects
• Ensure alignment with controls, procedures, and tooling which support our desire to deliver a world-class set of services in a predictable manner
• Review system requirements and business processes; code, test, debug, and implement software solutions
• Prioritize, plan, and track project progress
• Involved in direct planning of long- and short-term infrastructure improvement projects, including design, budgeting, and implementation
• Manage teams to achieve diverse objectives in replicable, scalable ways
• May include other duties as assigned

Skills

• A growth mindset, constant curiosity, and E2E ownership is critical as we are looking for new ways to streamline our services, improve capabilities and resilience, as well as driving a culture of accountability, inclusion, and technical excellence
• Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills
• 6+ years of experience required working as a software, service, and/or site reliability engineer
• 4+ years of experience recruiting and managing technical teams, including performance management
• 4+ years of experience in Engineering Program Management
• Highly motivated, highly collaborative, and highly inclusive
• Strong desire to innovate, grow, and learn as the industry continually evolves
• Strong cross-group and the ability to negotiate with senior talent across the company is critical
