[Remote] SR. MES Software Engineer
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Autoware, a provider of Manufacturing Execution System (MES) and Manufacturing Operations Management (MOM) solutions, helps manufacturers improve production efficiency, quality, traceability, and operational performance. The Senior MES Software Engineer implements, develops, configures, installs, and maintains customer application components while providing technical support and delivering engineering solutions.
Responsibilities
- Deliver assigned project components on time and to agreed quality standards
- Identify issues and potential deviations from project scope and communicate them promptly
- Provide regular progress updates to the Technical Lead and/or Project Manager, escalating problems as needed
- Actively collaborate with all members of the development team to ensure project cohesion
- Install and configure commercially available hardware and software products for customer deployments
- Research and gather information required to complete assigned technical tasks
- Document source code and draft technical documentation, including user manuals and developer guides
- Provide remote technical support to customers under active maintenance contracts, including on-call coverage as defined in the on-call agreement
- When traveling to customer sites, maintain complete documentation of work performed and associated expenses

- • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field; equivalent professional experience will be considered

- • Knowledge of AVEVA System platform and experience with SQL Server
- • Knowledge of AVEVA Historian
- • Knowledge of AVEVA Operations and Performance module
- • Knowledge of AVEVA Work Tasks and AVEVA MES
- • Knowledge of Traksys platform and experience with SQL Server and C#
- • Knowledge of JavaScript and CSS
