[Remote] Sr. Product Manager- Processing

Remote Full-time Now Hiring

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Arcadia is a global utility data and energy solutions platform that provides data, analytics, and enterprise energy management solutions. The Senior Product Manager will own the Processing roadmap, modernize legacy bill-processing operations, and lead the adoption of AI, automation, and improved validation workflows to reduce costs and improve margins.

Responsibilities

  • Own the roadmap for normalizing and validating raw bill data delivered by Plug into clean, structured payables, partnering with the data platform team on upstream data-quality feedback loops
  • Partner with Operations leadership overseeing tariff analysts, manual bill entry, and credential handling teams to map today's most labor-intensive workflows, quantify their cost and error rates, and prioritize which to automate first
  • Define and drive adoption of AI-powered extraction, document processing, and agentic automation across a legacy, service-heavy ecosystem — reducing dependence on manual review while holding or improving accuracy
  • Own the roadmap for provider-specific tolerancing rules and exception-handling logic that shrink the volume of bills routed to manual review
  • Build the business case connecting automation investment to cost-per-bill-processed improvement and translate margin gains into more competitive list pricing and packaging for go-to-market
  • Plan and sequence the migration of processing workflows off legacy and acquired systems onto modern, automation-first tooling — without disrupting live customer operations
  • Ensure Processing reliably generates clean payables that feed Payments— every downstream payment depends on the quality of Processing's output
  • Identify and close data quality gaps and processing errors before they become churn events
  • Maintain a prioritized, initiative-aligned roadmap with clear epics, due dates, and OKR traceability; represent Processing in cross-functional planning with Commercial, Operations, and R&D

Skills

  • Proven experience owning products where the “system” includes both software and a human service operation — comfortable being accountable for a service delivery model, not just a software roadmap
  • Track record of redesigning labor-intensive, service-heavy workflows (manual data entry, exception queues, offshore/BPO operations) into automated or AI-assisted processes, with measurable cost-per-unit improvement
  • Hands-on experience shipping AI-powered document processing, extraction, or agentic automation features into production
  • Experience modernizing or migrating workflows off legacy or acquired systems while maintaining operational continuity for live customers
  • Comfortable building business cases that connect automation and unit economics to gross margin and go-to-market pricing decisions
  • Experience with document/data extraction, validation logic, or high-volume back-office and transaction processing (utility billing or invoice processing a plus)
  • 6+ years of product management experience, including experience managing products with an embedded service or operations component
  • Experience integrating or modernizing service operations gained through M&A (e.g., legacy platforms, outsourced processing vendors)
  • Background in utility billing, invoice processing, or high-volume transaction environments

Benefits

  • "Remote first" culture - work anywhere in the US as long as you have a reliable internet connection
  • Flexible PTO - no accrued hours and no limit on the number of vacation days exempt employees can take each year
  • 11 annual holidays
  • 10 days sick leave
  • Up to 3 weeks bereavement leave
  • Up to 4 weeks of caregiver leave
  • Military leave for eligible services or events
  • 2 volunteer days off
  • 2 professional development days off
  • 10 weeks paid parental bonding leave for all parents and additional medical recovery time for eligible employees
  • 75-95% employer cost coverage for medical, dental, and vision benefits for employees and dependent
  • There will also be a competitive benefits component to the package.
