[Remote] Sr. Program Manager, HR Technology

Remote Full-time Now Hiring

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Lennar is one of the nation's leading homebuilders, dedicated to building quality homes, providing exceptional customer service, and fostering career growth for its Associates. The Senior Program Manager, HR Technology will oversee end-to-end delivery across Lennar's HR Technology portfolio, including roadmap planning, release and change management, vendor coordination, governance, financials, and executive reporting.

Responsibilities

  • Own end-to-end delivery accountability for the HR Technology portfolio across Workday (Core HCM, Security, Compensation, Recruiting, Talent, Absence, Time, Payroll, Reporting), ServiceNow HRSD and Employee Center Pro, NowMobile, Docebo, Paradox, and custom applications
  • Build and maintain an integrated roadmap that sequences projects, module deployments, and vendor releases against realistic capacity
  • Own demand intake and prioritization, including business case validation, effort sizing, trade-off analysis, and transparent disposition of requests
  • Partner with HR, Total Rewards, Talent Acquisition, Payroll, Finance, Legal, and IT leaders to translate objectives into a funded delivery plan
  • Manage portfolio financials — budget planning, forecast tracking, software and services spend, and variance explanation
  • Own the HR Technology release calendar across all platforms, including Workday's two annual releases and weekly service updates, ServiceNow upgrades, and vendor-driven cycles
  • Run the release lifecycle: feature assessment, impact analysis, adoption decisions, regression testing, sign-off, deployment, and post-release validation
  • Set and enforce change control standards — environment strategy, tenant refresh cadence, configuration migration, approval gates, and rollback plans
  • Chair release readiness and go/no-go reviews, and make the call when readiness criteria are not met
  • Coordinate cross-platform dependencies so changes in one system do not break integrations, service workflows, or reporting in another
  • Own release communication and enablement, including business-facing release notes, training updates, and support readiness
  • Set and sustain the team's delivery cadence — intake, planning, iteration reviews, release checkpoints, and retrospectives
  • Provide direction, prioritization, and technical challenge to analysts and engineers without formal reporting authority; unblock work and escalate decisively
  • Mentor the team on requirements quality, testing rigor, and documentation standards, improving delivery predictability and defect escape rates over time
  • Step into hands-on work as needed — writing requirements, reviewing design and configuration, leading escalated troubleshooting, and supporting critical cycles
  • Manage HR Technology vendors and implementation, AMS, and managed-service partners — scope, SOWs, deliverable quality, escalation, and service levels
  • Direct partner and contractor resources with accountability for outcomes rather than activity; support renewals, license true-ups, and vendor roadmap reviews with Procurement, Legal, and IT
  • Own the support model for the portfolio, including triage standards, service levels, and incident and problem management
  • Ensure the portfolio meets security, privacy, audit, and compliance requirements, including access governance and SOX-relevant controls
  • Define and report portfolio health metrics — delivery predictability, release quality, incident volume and aging, adoption, and value realized
  • Deliver executive updates and decision briefs that are concise, honest about risk, and actionable
  • Operate an HR Technology governance forum aligning HR, IT, and business stakeholders on priority and sequencing, and maintain the portfolio risk and issue register

Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Business, HR, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
  • Ten or more years delivering enterprise technology, including at least five leading HR technology delivery, programs, or a product portfolio
  • Demonstrated accountability for a multi-platform HR technology portfolio, with substantive hands-on Workday experience plus at least one other enterprise HR platform
  • Proven ownership of formal release and change management for enterprise SaaS — release calendars, regression testing, environment strategy, and go/no-go authority
  • Track record leading delivery teams and cross-functional workstreams without formal reporting authority
  • Vendor and systems integrator management experience, including scope, SOWs, performance accountability, and escalation
  • Functional fluency across core HR, compensation, talent acquisition, learning, absence, time, payroll, and HR service delivery
  • Sufficient technical depth to interrogate design decisions and judge whether a solution will hold up in production
  • Executive-level communication, candor about risk, and absolute discretion handling confidential data
  • Location will be Miami, FL (Lennar Corporate Headquarters) or Remote (U.S.)
  • This is primarily a sedentary office position which requires the incumbent to have the ability to operate computer equipment, speak, hear, bend, stoop, reach, lift, and move and carry up to 25 lbs. Finger dexterity is necessary
  • Hands-on experience with ServiceNow HRSD, Employee Center Pro, and NowMobile
  • Experience with Docebo or comparable learning platforms and with conversational AI recruiting tools such as Paradox
  • Workday Pro, ServiceNow, or equivalent platform certifications; PMP, SAFe, Scrum, or ITIL credentials applied pragmatically
  • Experience owning delivery for custom-built HR applications alongside packaged SaaS
  • Large multi-brand or multi-entity enterprise experience (5,000+ employees), including acquisition integration
  • Exposure to SOX or similar control environments as applied to HR and payroll systems
  • Homebuilding, construction, real estate, or financial services experience
