[Remote] Sr. Software Engineer

The company is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to design and deliver scalable backend and platform solutions for cloud-based applications, including APIs, distributed services, infrastructure automation, and cloud infrastructure improvements. The role also involves collaborating with cross-functional engineering teams and contributing to technical discussions, code reviews, and engineering best practices.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain backend applications, platform components, and service integrations using technologies such as C#, .NET, Python, Node.js, and related tools
- Design and implement secure, scalable APIs and distributed services aligned with cloud-native and microservices-based architecture principles
- Build application and infrastructure solutions from the ground up, supporting greenfield initiatives through planning, development, deployment, and optimization
- Automate provisioning and release processes by applying Infrastructure as Code practices to cloud environments and platform services
- Collaborate with architects, engineering leads, and peer developers to translate technical strategies into well-structured, production-ready solutions
- Support the setup and improvement of cloud infrastructure, backend systems, and platform capabilities to ensure performance, reliability, and maintainability
- Contribute to technical discussions, code reviews, and engineering best practices that promote high-quality delivery across the development lifecycle
- Explore and incorporate emerging tools and frameworks, including AI-enabled development technologies when relevant to project goals
Skills
- At least 5 years of experience in platform engineering, backend development, software engineering, or cloud engineering roles
- Strong hands-on programming experience with C#, .NET, Python, Node.js, or similar backend technologies
- Demonstrated success designing, building, and deploying backend services and APIs in modern application environments
- Solid understanding of microservices, cloud-native development patterns, and contemporary application frameworks
- Experience using cloud platforms in workplace settings; broader cloud expertise is highly preferred
- Background in Infrastructure as Code and automation for application or infrastructure deployment workflows

- Exposure to AI-related engineering tools such as LangChain, LangSmith, or comparable technologies is considered a plus
