[Remote] Staff Software Development Engineer

The Staff Software Development Engineer will work on a cross-functional product team to create high-quality products from discovery through delivery, educate business and technology stakeholders on development processes, and apply Java, frontend, backend, and agile development practices.
Responsibilities
- Work in a collaborative environment, contributing to Agile team
- Lead the design of efficient and user-friendly software products to advance and support business needs
- Develop frontend and backend code utilizing test-driven development
Skills
- * 7+ years of experience working with enterprise solution delivery in a large-scale distributed software design environment, preferably in a J2EE development environment
- * 7+ years of Java development experience while utilizing Spring Boot and/or Spring MVC
- * 4+ years of experience with frontend development using Angular 8+
- * 2+ years of experience using Agile concepts such as continuous integration (CI/CD) and test-driven development (TDD)
- * Familiarity with cloud infrastructure hardware and software such as Openstack, AWS, GCP, or Azure
- * Strong leadership experience
- * Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, engineering, or similar
- * 1 year of professional work experience required for every year of college degree not completed, in addition to required years of experience
- * Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
- * Excellent written and verbal communication skills
