[Remote] Strategic Account Manager
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Accuris provides engineering intelligence and technical content solutions. The Strategic Account Manager owns sales quota for Engineering Solutions subscriptions, builds pipeline and new subscription revenue, grows customer relationships, and supports team enablement through product training and demo coaching.
Responsibilities
- Quota Attainment: Meet or exceed assigned monthly, quarterly, and annual sales quota
- New Business: Build pipeline and sell Engineering Workbench subscriptions, providing access to engineering standards and specifications from over 380 Standards Development Organizations (SDOs), to new customers
- Outbound Prospecting: Prospect into whitespace opportunities through outbound campaigns, and convert existing Accuris retail customers to subscription
- Opportunity Management: Qualify and follow up on new sales opportunities through inbound and outbound call activity
- Forecasting & Pipeline: Maintain accurate forecasting and pipeline management, and keep all sales processes moving quickly and efficiently
- Customer Relationships: Develop relationships with new customers to build long-term partnerships
- Enablement & Mentoring: Lead small-group training sessions (typically 1-2 per week) on processes such as add-ons and Engineering Workbench demos, plus 1:1 demo coaching to get teammates up to speed
- Product Expertise: Maintain in-depth knowledge of our products and services, clearly articulate our value proposition, and continue building product knowledge to deliver a world-class customer experience
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field, or equivalent work experience
- 3+ years of B2B sales experience
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
- Superior closing, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Strong customer service and telesales skills preferred
- Bilingual skills are a plus, but not required
